Sedating a cat

We can just move into a quiet, comfortable room and use some simple towel-wrap techniques like so.

It was about someone with a similar situation who took the cat to be groomed. DF: The trauma of having uncomfortable mats of fur removed (which is essential for Maddie’s physical health) and then coming home to face the intruder Maggie could be very harmful to your old cat.

The cat was traumatized, had a heart attack and died. My only guess is to have her sedated and then groomed. I would put Maggie in a boarding facility for a few days.

He is very hyper and playful usually so I have been thinking about sedating him for the flight. I strongly suggest you have a harness and leash in case the cat bolts.

If you’re not confident about effectively restraining her, arrange for a helper to come and hold her.
