Updating firmware on olympus e620

I think this is the first time a company updates the camera manual including the new firmware features info.

Using outdated or corrupt Olympus EVOLT E-620 drivers can cause system errors, crashes, and cause your computer or hardware to fail.

For example, a Four Thirds lens with a 300 mm focal length would cover about the same angle of view as a 600 mm focal length lens for the 35 mm film standard, and is correspondingly more compact.

Thus, the Four Thirds System has crop factor (focal length multiplier) of about 2, and while this enables longer focal length for greater magnification, it does not necessarily aid the manufacture of wide angle lenses.

The Olympus E-620 is a Four Thirds digital SLR that combines the feature set of the new E-30 with the compact design of the E-420.

This camera is positioned between Olympus' E-520 and E-30, and prices start at $599 for the body-only configuration.

Furthermore, installing the wrong Olympus drivers can make these problems even worse.

Recommendation: If you are inexperienced with updating Olympus device drivers manually, we highly recommend downloading the Olympus EVOLT E-620 Driver Utility.

Lens design has been tailored to the requirements of digital sensors, most notably through telecentric designs.
